In case you missed it, ICYMI means “in case you missed it.”
Also in case you missed it, my newsletter, The B-Side, launched this week. Next edition is out August 9. You probably don’t want to miss it, but that’s just my opinion. You can sign up here, or just use the top bar.
If you had the misfortune of missing The B-Side this Sunday, you also missed the announcement of my new YouTube channel and my first video, How To Introduce Yourself On YouTube. Catch up to my campaign!
ICYMI, I went to New York this weekend for the Certified 10 Back 2 Basics workshop. I got blessed out for not seeing/ calling any of my family up there. Apparently the next time I set foot (or tire) in any borough without calling, my “behind is pork rinds,”– word to Aunt Spicy. Alas, the Certified 10 event & weekend at Yetti’s were worth the risk of becoming fried pig skins (more on the C10 workshop in my next blog post, mañana!).
ICYMI: My work was featured in two of my favorite bloggers’ Guest Writers Weeks.
The first, “Lies My Grandmother Told Me (And The Truths I Extracted From Them),” was submitted to the wonderful Tyece’s blog, TwentiesUnscripted.com. Lies My Grandmother Told Me outlines three lies I was told by my Gram, and how those lies helped me cultivate my own definition of womanhood.
The second, “Your Support System Ain’t Sh*t“ discusses the importance of utilizing your support system. This piece is up on the phenomenal Yetti’s blog (YettiSays.com).
This may have been the shortest post I’ve ever written, but, I think we’re all caught up now. Stay tuned for more amazing things! Love to all!
