Welcome to the new EverSoRoco.com! Not much seems new here, but there was a lot of backend business that went on (shout out to Joey from tech support!). I crossed over, y’all; I made the switch from Blogger to WordPress.

So what’s new here? Clearly the header. As I evolve, my bio evolves with me, so, there’s a bit of novelty there, too. My favicon is yellow now (!!). My theme is the same as it was on Blogger, it just has a responsive feature with WordPress. Translation: now it looks cool on your phone, tablet, AND computer. I finally published my blog roll, or Regular Reads section. Take a look down that list to see who I’ve been keeping up with.

Making the switch from Blogger to WordPress was less than a journey, more of a trip. If I had to give one bit of advice on making the switch, I would say don’t be afraid of sounding like an idiot to tech support. You are an idiot to tech support. And that’s okay because very few of them can string together a sentence the way you do. And very few of them can find the perfect lip color the way you do. It takes all kinds, okay champ? Call them as many times as you need to. Ask them as many questions as you desire. That’s what they’re there for. It’s got detailed instructions from start to finish on migrating to a self-hosted WordPress.
